1920's Ombre Sideboard

£0.00Price

We were commissioned by our client to create a sideboard for their newly renovated home.

They wanted to bring the outside in and have this theme throughout the house.

To compliment their new couch, a warm deep orange with hints of greys and subtle greens, we decided to depict these colours and create a soft grey to green ombre up the front and sides of the piece, bringing the lighter colours down in the legs to enhance the carvings. Creating a subtle statement piece to sit nicely in their living space.

This colour scheme also meets their brief of keeping things more toned down in their home.

The deep rich tone of the oak, will complete the main tones of the couch this, as well as the greens, will create a warm calm environment for them to relax in.

We cleaned up the original handles and added some beautiful Boeme velvet to the top drawer for a luxurious feel.

The piece has been painted in Lick paint and has had a coat of matt varnish for extra protection, while the wood has been fine sanded, dark stained and oilied to also protect.
