Patience & Gough offers luxury bespoke bedroom design and custom bedroom interiors from our Windermere studio in the Lake District. We create tailored bedrooms that function beautifully and feel deeply personal — blending thoughtful spatial planning, handcrafted cabinetry and bespoke furniture to suit your lifestyle. Each bedroom space is designed as a sanctuary, where comfort, craftsmanship and refined aesthetic details come together in harmony.
Bedrooms
We create rich and immersive bedrooms centered around relaxation and function. From custom wall panelling to envelop you in wood tones, to bespoke wallpapers to bring the surrounding landscape in, we bring your ideas to life. Walk-in wardrobes designed by Patience & Gough ensure all of your prised outfits have a place and are secure. We offer fully bespoke watch drawers, watch winders and hidden compartments as well as lockable wardrobes and safes.
Procurement
Along with the bespoke service, we work with multiple suppliers to deliver the best comfort and quality to your bedroom area. We design full lighting plans and work with smart home companies to ensure everything works seamlessly with your routine. We have installed switchable glass when motorised curtains and blinds are not suitable, and all this links together via an app and a central control hub. Working closely with Majik House, we can offer a full smart home package.
Textiles
Textiles are a huge part of our business. We can weave 100% silk Jacquard, giving our clients soft furnishing and curtain options that are exclusive and unique to them, as well as printing onto recycled velvet and 100% Linen.
We think outside the box when using our textiles, bringing even more bespoke options to our clients in the form of murals and wallcoverings.

Ferrari 12 Cilindri Desk
Inspired by the powerful aesthetic of the Ferrari 12 Cilindri, this bespoke desk has a strong and sleek presence. Clad in dark green figured sycamore, sharp angles echo the delta-wing rear of the hardtop edition, while the Ferrari’s distinct interior is mirrored using supple Italian leather. At the press of a button, a concealed 27-inch monitor glides smoothly from the rear compartment. Subtle details elevate the experience; a precision-inlaid Ferrari clock, discreet pen storage and a concealed keyboard tray. This is a tribute to beautifully engineered design.
