A ash and walnut cabinet defined by architectural proportions, softened through material and detail.
The Canvas Cabinet is formed in smoked satin walnut, with figured ash and madrona burl selected for their natural movement and depth. Across the doors, the Kitsune marquetry unfolds, a Japanese fox set within rice paddies, rendered in undyed veneers and mother of pearl. The composition is continuous and precise, with a quiet complexity that shifts with light.
A sculpted bronze handle traces a subtle wave, paired with concealed bronze hinges that allow the form to remain uninterrupted.
Within, the cabinet is entirely bespoke. Shelving comes as standard, with the option to configure the piece as a bar cabinet, drop-down desk, or fully fitted drawer interior. Pocket doors can be introduced, allowing the cabinet to move between display and concealment.
Each cabinet is commissioned to order and crafted by hand over a 16-week period in one of the Sultanate of Oman’s most respected furniture workshops, where generations of expertise in joinery and marquetry define the process.
Designed for living rooms, private studies and entertaining spaces, the cabinet is intended to hold presence over time, shaped by material, use and setting.
