We designed the Panthera Headboard to feel quieter, softer and more architectural within the bedroom. This luxury upholstered headboard extends from floor to wall in a continuous upholstered form, creating the feeling of a permanent installation rather than a conventional piece of furniture. Formed from oversized square panels, the segmented upholstery introduces a sense of structure and rhythm as it frames and interrupts the pattern across the surface, bringing softness, texture and scale to the room.
 
Upholstered in our Panthera Champagne Linen, the design balances delicate botanical linework with playful hidden figures woven throughout the pattern. Printed onto natural linen, the fabric has a softness and depth that changes beautifully throughout the day, bringing a calmer and more relaxed atmosphere than velvet whilst retaining the richness and detail of the original artwork.
 
The scale and placement of the pattern have been developed specifically for this headboard and carefully adjusted to suit its proportions, meaning each piece is uniquely composed and cannot be directly repeated across other sizes or formats.
 
Currently offered in a Super King proportion, this luxury upholstered headboard is shown oversized against a King bed to create a greater sense of scale and quiet grandeur within the room. The extended proportions allow the textile to fully unfold across the upholstered panels whilst framing the bed architecturally. Each piece is handcrafted in Manchester and made to order.
