Panthera is a composed, ornamental pattern built around symmetry and balance, where poised big cats sit among layered botanical forms and classical figures, illustrated with a contemporary hand. Subtle interactions between the figures and animals introduce a quiet narrative, while the structured composition maintains a sense of rhythm and control.
In the Prussian colourway, this statement linen is defined by a deep, inky blue ground, with tonal shifts that bring subtle contrast to the pattern. The palette feels rich and controlled, with the depth of colour reinforcing the symmetry of the design while maintaining a calm, atmospheric presence.
Printed on 100% linen, this luxury fabric is suitable for curtains, cushions and light upholstery. The natural texture gently softens the pattern, enhancing its fluid movement while maintaining a clear, defined finish.

Yevheniia Vynokurova
Ukrainian artist Yevheniia Vynokurova talks about her inspiration and the meanings behind the tigers that caught the attention of design house Patience and Gough and sparked the collaboration.
Artist Yevheniia Vynokurova says of her designs, “I’ve come a very short way as an artist, but I feel the importance of my mission to create something incredible and beautiful because it makes me happy that people can smile when they look at my illustrations. The tiger is a symbol of energy, and strength, as well as a symbol of good luck and beauty. Inspired by Eastern mythology, I imagined the essence of these animals and by drawing the tigers I started a dialogue with myself, and with many others, for whom my tigers have become a talisman.”
As Yevheniia beautifully puts it, her tigers are more than illustrations – they’re talismans of courage and resilience. Through this collection, our fabric is given a layer of meaning far beyond the material.
