In “Bauhaus,” the Penrose Prowl design is reimagined as a woven silk jacquard upholstery fabric, playing with geometry, depth, and light. The architectural pattern unfolds across a palette of deep indigo, steel, and brick red, echoing the spirit of modernism through intricate weave and precise detailing.

The natural sheen of pure silk enhances every edge and curve, giving the design a sculptural quality, as if each stairway and architectural form were drawn in light. Complex yet balanced, the textile celebrates structure, rhythm, and imagination.

Ideal for luxury upholstery, feature chairs, cushions, and statement panels, “Bauhaus” brings a refined contemporary energy to interiors, pairing beautifully with polished metals, dark timbers, and minimalist detailing.

A craft on the edge of extinction, the art of silk weaving.

We met with Ron Smart — Ron is a master of his trade and took the time to guide us around his factory and walk us through the process of silk weaving.

This isn’t just production. It’s a living heritage.
A reminder that true luxury is built on patience, skill, and a respect for tradition.

The result? A silk that is stronger, purer, and more beautiful than anything mass-manufactured could ever be — ready to live on as upholstery, drapery, and heirlooms in waiting.

Yevheniia Vynokurova

Ukrainian artist Yevheniia Vynokurova talks about her inspiration and the meanings behind the tigers that caught the attention of design house Patience and Gough and sparked the collaboration.

Artist Yevheniia Vynokurova says of her designs, “I’ve come a very short way as an artist, but I feel the importance of my mission to create something incredible and beautiful because it makes me happy that people can smile when they look at my illustrations. The tiger is a symbol of energy, and strength, as well as a symbol of good luck and beauty. Inspired by Eastern mythology, I imagined the essence of these animals and by drawing the tigers I started a dialogue with myself, and with many others, for whom my tigers have become a talisman.”

As Yevheniia beautifully puts it, her tigers are more than illustrations – they’re talismans of courage and resilience. Through this collection, our fabric is given a layer of meaning far beyond the material.
