We designed the Tora Velvet Headboard to bring a stronger architectural presence into the bedroom. Extending from floor to wall in a continuous upholstered form, the piece creates the feeling of a permanent installation, grounding the space with softness, texture and scale.
Crafted from solid oak with a deep-stained finish, subtle chamfered edges and refined joint detailing, the design balances clean architectural lines with the tactile richness of upholstery.
The headboard is upholstered in our Tora Velvet, a botanical pattern where stylised tigers move through layered foliage and oversized blooms. Shown here in the Small Scale pattern, the fabric draws the eye closer, revealing quieter moments of texture, character and detail while maintaining a calm, enveloping atmosphere.
Originally conceived in Super King proportions, the headboard is also available in King and Double sizes and can be intentionally oversized against a smaller bed to create a more dramatic, hotel-like effect. Available across all Tora colourways, each piece is handcrafted in Manchester and made to order.
