Overgaard & Dyrman

Patience & Gough works with Overgaard & Dyrman to bring our patterned textiles to their sculptural Circle chairs and stools. Their precision-made frames and distinctive forms provide a strong foundation for our velvets, linens and silks, allowing pattern, colour and material to become part of the furniture itself.

The partnership brings together two very different approaches to making — Overgaard & Dyrman’s highly engineered Danish furniture and Patience & Gough’s expressive textile collections. Each chair can be specified across fabric, timber, metalwork and leather detailing, creating a piece that feels individual while retaining the character of both studios.

Overgaard & Dyrman’s Circle dining chairs and bar stools are handcrafted in Denmark and can be upholstered in a range of Patience & Gough textiles. The collaboration brings together their sculptural furniture forms with our patterned velvet, linen and silk, allowing each chair to be tailored through fabric, timber, metal and leather finishes.

The chair can then be tailored further through the frame, metalwork and leather detailing, allowing you to create a combination that suits the character of your interior. Choose from available wood species and finishes, select the metal finish for the feet and arm details, and complete the piece with either leather cord or a leather-wrapped arm.
