Patience & Gough upcycled midcentury sideboard, hand-painted in a soft pink and pale grey for a modern look

Pink Entity Sideboard

This midcentury sideboard has had a Chic transformation, mimicking its sleek curves and lines. What was a pretty boring and bland piece is now a statement for any room, the soft colours and bold design complement each other and contrast the teak wood grain perfectly.

The beautifully handcrafted handles from "Honey I'm Home" finish off the piece and tie in harmoniously with style of the hand-painted geometric design and the "Harlequin" fabric.

I imagine this piece in a calm interior, deep pinks and greens or blue hues to create a relaxing space for the end of the day would be a perfect backdrop for this sideboard! Alternatively, you could be daring and have it against a velvety charcoal wall.

To complete the look, why not pair this sideboard with its complementing side tables.

We used fusion mineral paint which is super durable, I have also used a matt varnish on the top for added protection. The fabric is also varnished so it's ready for day to day use, while the teak accents on the doors and legs have been fine sanded and re-oiled to bring them back to life. We also restored the original drawer handles to keep the retro look.
