Created in collaboration with the esteemed Shamsian workshop in Oman - whose marquetry and joinery grace some of the world’s most extraordinary interiors - this collection feels both timeless and unexpected.

The Japanese word "Shokunin" (職人) holds a deep cultural significance that goes beyond the simple translation of "artisan" or "craftsman." It represents an individual who embodies the spirit of craftsmanship. A “shokunin” is a master of their craft, driven by a deep passion to create beauty and bring joy to the world.

As a long-standing provider of joinery to the Sultan of Oman, their work is defined by exceptional precision, material understanding and an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship.
Our partnership is built on a shared commitment to quality and detail, allowing us to translate our designs into pieces that balance technical mastery with a refined, contemporary language. Yevheniia Vynokurova
Developed in collaboration with Ukrainian artist Yevheniia Vynokurova, this design forms part of a series of patterns translated from her original illustrations into marquetry, and reworked in-house to suit the scale and material of each piece.
